Job Description:

At Warner Music Group, we’re a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we know that each talent makes our collective bolder and brighter. We are guided by four core principles that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:

  • Music is Everything: Music is our passion, and we can never get enough. Tastes, trends, and tech will change, but great artists and songwriters will always be our driving force.
  • Global Growth, Local Expertise: Music is a global language. Through communication and collaboration, our success can come from anywhere and translate everywhere.
  • Innovation and Insight: Pushing the boundaries requires the best information and the boldest imagination. We use both to create the future.
  • Empowered by People: Like the artists we serve and the music they make, our differences make us stronger. This is a place where every talent can belong and build a career.

We remain committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We know it fosters a culture where you can truly belong, contribute, and grow. We encourage applications from people of any age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, and any other characteristic or identity.

  • Develop and implement design strategies that transform, innovate and optimize our products to align with user needs and business goals and actually see them through from vision through research, design, testing, implementation and to launch.
  • Mapping the end-to-end user journey for key persona workflows and applying service design methodology

About you:

  • At least 7 years of proven experience in Product Design, UX Design, or similar roles with a strong portfolio showcasing how you’ve designed, delivered and optimized intuitive and impactful experiences.
  • Proven track record of bringing a consumer sensibility to experiences and tackling complex flows and customer journeys but still producing elegant and efficient business products that solve complex, data intensive problems.
  • You can work independently or give direction to designers within your team and constantly strive to raise the design bar through applying a wider variety of design skills (e.g., design thinking, design strategy, user problem definition, information architecture, service design).

  • Strong proficiency in Figma and knowledge of other major design and prototyping tools as well as user testing platforms.
  • Laser focused on solving for user needs, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and user research and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to cross-functional teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills across disciplines and stakeholders to drive positive change, negotiating to outcomes and driving decision-making. You welcome feedback, are a good listener and value a wide range of opinions and perspectives.
