As Product Analyst for Optum’s Risk and Quality Provider and Field Platform team, you will be vital to our success delivering the best value to our clients through field and provider enablement technologies. Establishing collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, gather accurate business requirements and work closely with technical product counterparts on platform development. Evaluate product performance, user satisfaction and market requirements for enhancements. You will join an innovative team to lead complex product designs and influence cross functional stakeholders to successfully adapt and embrace change.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, and understanding of business and product strategies and related use cases
  • Identify, gather, and analyze product performance and user satisfaction, producing a dashboard of performance and satisfaction with the platform
  • Identify and promote solutions based on analysis of external and internal data
  • Identify opportunities to reuse technology or leverage new technology to improve capability performance
  • Problem solving skills to identify root cause and resolution
  • Gather and prioritize business requirements, design, and deliver solutions in partnership with product and technical teams
  • Serve as the capability champion and apply deep expertise to credibly represent, manage and engage with business partners
  • Supports preparation of capability business case
  • Identifies and accesses relevant data to build compelling business case in self-directed manner

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in new product development and or management in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Experience coordinating priorities and executing development
  • Solid communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation communications
  • Ability to analyze data for evaluation of program effectiveness
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Technical Product Manager, Operations Lead in a large, complex US organization
  • Health care Experience
  • Experience communicating with senior level business leaders and stakeholders
  • Experience with business case development
  • Experience with AHA and Rally

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
