Role/Responsibilities
Moody’s is looking for a senior product designer to join a team that is working on applications and services delivering ESG insights to clients in the financial services. A successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, collaborative team player, comfortable with the complex, and adaptable in the face of change.
Responsibilities include:
- Gathering and synthesizing requirements from internal stakeholders, accurately interpreting the business challenge and end-user needs
- Designing and presenting customer journeys, product concepts, user flows, wireframes, UI design, prototypes
- Contributing to our design system and its evolution over time
- Collaborating and adapting with agility in a quickly shifting business environment, working effectively as a designer in a global and highly cross-functional organization
Qualifications
- A portfolio of work samples demonstrating design skill, evidencing attention to detail, graphic ability, knowledge of design principles, strong understanding of interaction design, and a thoughtful design and user- or human-centered design process
- Ability to work independently and drive design process, but with a strong preference for collaboration as part of a highly collegial team
- Robust communication skills, and an ability to multi-task and manage time, with a high standard of excellence and personal commitment
- A motivation to learn about and contribute to the creation of sustainability-related services and applications for the financial industry
- Expert skill with digital design tools
- 8-10+ years of experience in design for web or desktop applications in financial services or another complex domain
Good to have:
- Degree and/or work experience in Industrial Design, Architecture, HCI, or other research-based design field
- Interest or experience in leading or participating in user research

For Colorado-based roles only: the anticipated base salary range for this position is $109,200 to $158,250 depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for a completion bonus. Moody’s also offers insurance and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
