We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Principal Product Designer with a passion for and track record of creating exceptional user experiences. As a Principal Product Designer, you will work across all products and collaborate closely with business owners to share the future of our product offerings. You will be responsible for designing high-quality, user-centered design solutions that meet business goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand business and user requirements and translate them into design solutions
- Lead the design of new product features and enhancements from ideation to launch, ensuring the design meets user needs and aligns with business goals
- Work with UXR to conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communication design concepts and interactions
- Present design concepts and user insights to stakeholders and effectively weed through feedback to extract inputs that improve the design
- Collaborate with other designers and contribute to building a strong design community
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience designing digital products, with a focus on UX/UI design
- A portfolio of work demonstrating your expertise in designing successful commerce experiences
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking and methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
