Job Description:
Planet Technologies, the Nation’s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as Power Platform Developer. In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that make a difference for our country.
This position will be in a fast-paced, mission-sensitive, highly advanced and integrated IT environment. Experience implementing solutions in sensitive Government environments is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, responsive and scalable Power Platform apps (model-driven, canvas), leveraging Dataverse, on-premises and other data sources.
- Develop scalable Power Automate flows and Business Process Flows (BPFs) with an eye towards efficient design and optimal throughput. Leverage premium connectors & develop custom connectors as necessary.
- Integrate multiple data sources into Power Platform solutions including on-premises & API-sourced relational data and Geo-spatial data (ESRI).
- Develop Power Platform proof of concepts to test use-cases and prototype solutions for end-users
- Work in an Agile scrum team environment utilizing an Azure DevOps board to identify and meet project deliverables.
Skills Required
- Experience building enterprise Model-Driven and Canvas apps. Experience with low-code, PowerFX, fusion development, and responsive design.
- Experience building robust Power Automate flows and Model-Driven Business Process Flows (BPFs)
- Able to work with Data Gateways and connectors and build custom connectors. Experience working with multiple data sources including Dataverse.
- Comfortable working with Dataflows, PowerQuery ETL and the Common Data Model. Experience with PL-SQL.
- Able to read/write data using SOAP and REST API’s, including private API’s via Data Gateway and Azure KeyVault authentication. Comfortable working with XML, JSON and Azure App Registrations.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). Able to work with solutions and Azure DevOps sprints/pipelines across Dev, Test and Prod environments.
- Experience working with SharePoint online, document libraries and linkage with apps/Dataverse
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter within a team environment
Essentials
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certifications (Microsoft PL-400)
- Clearance: Active Public Trust clearance is required.
