We’re seeking a Motion Designer for our DraftKings Marketplace vertical, the NFT ecosystem designed by DraftKings for mainstream accessibility. In this design role, you will be a member of our Marketplace Content Studio, a group operating as a small, nimble, innovative team working together to establish DraftKings as a leader in the NFT space. The NFT space has never been more exciting, and we can’t wait for you to join us.
What you’ll do as a Motion Designer:
- Execute animated content for DraftKings NFT studio as well as create content on behalf of other people and brands partnering with DraftKings.
- Contribute to overall creative strategy, NFT concept development, and practical execution.
- Create final NFT artwork, which may utilize a combination of animation, illustration, hand-drawn, digital created images, and 3D techniques.
- Ensure all final deliverables meet specifications and technical requirements.
- Adapt to handle concept, scope, or timeline shifts.
- Enhance the DraftKings NFT offerings by actively staying on top of industry trends, processes, and standards.
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years of design experience as well as a BFA in Motion Design or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
- Videography or design education, or the equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with most content creation formats: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Blender, Procreate, Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with design templates in Canva or Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, TikTok, Instagram, FB Live, etc.
- A demonstrable passion for making creative content on a spectrum of media platforms – social, streaming, AR, music, film, interactive, etc.
- Extraordinary design, editing and social media writing skills. Capable of generating animated and 3D concepts quickly & precisely.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to receive, interpret and implement constructive feedback from stakeholders
- A deep passion for NFTs, Cryptocurrency, and the Metaverse is preferred.
