Job Description

The Manager, Endpoint Services is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s IT endpoint environment. This includes all desktop and laptop hardware and software computing platforms, mobile devices, and other endpoints used by employees and associates. The manager is also responsible for assessing and implementing new endpoint technology standards, policies and procedures, and for ensuring that all IT endpoints are following the organization’s configuration and security standards.

This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning,implementation,and maintenance of the organization’s IT endpoint environment.
  • Oversee the selection,acquisition,and deployment of IT endpoint hardware and software.
  • Operate and maintain enhancement and security patches on all endpoints
  • Develop and implement IT endpoint security policies and procedures to protect the organization’s data and systems from unauthorized access,use,disclosure,disruption,modification,or destruction.
  • Manage a team of IT endpoint engineers and technicians.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team and to the organization as a whole.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT endpoint technologies and trends.
  • Identify and evaluate new IT endpoint products and services.
  • Make recommendations for the improvement of the organization’s IT endpoint environment.
  • Respond to and resolve IT endpoint incidents and outages.
  • Work with other IT departments and with business units to ensure that the organization’s IT endpoint environment meets their needs.
  • Create and deliver training materials that help users learn how to use new endpoint technologies effectively.
  • Provide support to users during the adoption process,including answering questions,troubleshooting problems,and providing feedback.
  • Measure and track the success of endpoint technology adoption initiatives.
  • Stay up to date on the latest digital adoption technologies and best practices.
  • Identify and assess digital workplace needs and opportunities for improvement
  • Serve as a digital workplace evangelist within the IT function

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science,Information Technology,or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT endpoint management,with a focus on endpoint hardware,software,and security.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT endpoint technologies and trends.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT endpoint security policies and procedures.
  • Experience in managing a team of IT endpoint engineers and technicians.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven experience with Windows, iOS, Android, and Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Strong expertise in patch management, Intune, SCCM, and patching best practices.
  • Must be proficient in Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and other 0365 capabilities.
