Corporate Meeting/Group Air Consultant

Full time, part time (home)based in the US

In this role, you will be responsible for booking and ticketing airline reservations as requested by our program participants and as assigned by our Attendee Services Coordinators. You will work independently on assigned tasks and takes the initiative to assist team members and management as requested. This role is for a dedicated account.

A snapshot of this opportunity

* Make airline reservations using the GDS system
* Issue airline tickets, voids, refunds, and exchanges as needed
* Monitor and manage email air folder and GDS queues for the program
* Document all records in GDS and registration technology as required
* Pull daily reports from the registration tool to capture air booking data and special requests. Update the tool daily to reflect the current status of the air booking process
* Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of customer programs/events and keep abreast of all changes
* Respond to requests accurately and completely
* Use the appropriate BCD tools and systems to complete the requests
* Previous meeting experience required

How you can set yourself apart

* Solid experience in GDS Sabre administration
* Extensive travel agency experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
* Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills
* Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and shifting timetables
* Excellent spoken and written communications skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
