Title: Media Buyer, Healthcare Digital Marketing

What we do:

83bar manages patient education, navigation, and acquisition campaigns for some of the largest, most dynamic wellness and health brands in the US. We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable, personable, and a great communicator who is capable of designing and managing high-performing lead-generation campaigns.

What you’ll do:

The ideal candidate for a Strategist is someone with applicable experience managing paid lead generation campaigns. Social platforms used include, but are not limited to: Facebook, Google, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Candidates who are intellectually curious, love to learn, are willing to take ownership of their work, and scale campaigns will have significant upside and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Competencies:

  • -A master at building digital lead generation campaigns to produce low-cost CPAs and qualified patients for our healthcare clients
  • -A deep understanding of social, display, native, and programmatic media buying and how these channels can be used together to create an omnichannel experience
  • -Ability to A/B test ad copy, images, and videos to optimize ad performance
  • -Proven ability to set up pixel and conversion tracking across media platforms
  • -Deep understanding of how to craft or identify compelling copy to convert web visitors to leads.
  • -Understanding the sensitivities of healthcare advertising but still building and maintaining optimized campaigns within these constraints
  • -Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and fix a broken sales funnel
  • -Aptitude for interpreting data points and making data-driven choices about budget management and effectiveness
  • -High attention to detail is needed for managing campaigns across a wide scope of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • -Ability to craft the client story through the written and spoken word, over email, in PPT presentations, in excel tables, and in person “here is the data, figure it out” does not work.
  • -Ability to communicate actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders both internally and externally Ability to problem-solve campaign hiccups, but also client requests that might be vague
  • -Size projects, manage production timelines, and ensure all client-requested details are met and delivered on time.
  • -Problem-solving by collaborating/thinking creatively


  • -A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • -Experience working within the social, search, digital media, or agency space
  • -A passion to be continuously learning and improving
  • -Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • -Working knowledge of Excel functions – pivot tables especially
  • -An analytical and investigative approach to problem-solving
  • -Advanced written and presentation communication skill set
  • -Proficiency in translating strategy into smart and sound digital tactics
  • -Being open to innovating and changing workflow and management processes
  • -Clinical trial patient recruitment experience preferred
  • -Facebook, Google Analytics, or AdWords certification are a PLUS
