The Marketing Specialist has primary responsibility for delivering content for our global marketing programs and providing general divisional marketing program support for the Laboratory Chemicals Division.
You will be part of our fast paced and dynamic marketing team, have proven experience in marketing and design and be excited by science and how you can make an impact.
A Day in the Life:
- Develop marketing content and assets to drive customer engagement and lead generation
- Develop social and email marketing content
- Conduct analysis of marketing content (pre-campaign testing and segmentation analysis, post-campaign analysis, customer insights etc) to optimize and improve marketing content
- Execution and deployment of cross divisional marketing programs targeting segments that drive demand generation and new contacts in these segments
- Support Divisional Marketing Programs specifically Thought Leadership Initiatives
- Support internal communication efforts to promote internal and external program initiatives
- Update capabilities deck and circulate on a quarterly basis
- Help with content, style and format of meeting presentations including Town Hall and quarterly business reviews
- Lead the LCD ON24 Laboratory Chemicals Resource Hub and Webinar program
- Lead and support the division webinars program and the associated marketing communications
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Keys to Success:
Education
- Marketing/Design degree or equivalent experience and have worked in a similar position previously
Experience
- You will have experience in the execution of marketing programs (preferably from a channel and regional perspective)
- You can craft and develop messages, content and creative to target diverse customer groups and influence channel selection
- Have marketing experience and be comfortable working with common design applications/software – Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience in life sciences industry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- The person should show initiative in all projects and should be able to work according to timelines
- Knowledge of the following key proficiencies: 4Ps and marketing mix, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, segmentation, value proposition and marketing program development and execution
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Well-organized and have experience of working across multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing workload optimally
- Confident professional that shows phenomenal attention to detail
- Travel up to 5%.
