The Marketing Project Manager develops and manages both internal and client-facing projects in a dynamic environment, delivering reporting and tools to ensure team members across departments meet objectives. This self-starter must work well on a team and employ solid communication skills to manage project timelines and deliverables. The Marketing Project Manager will operate in a matrixed environment and provide support across marketing teams. A successful project manager at Surest can lead and manage through ambiguity, being flexible and able to adapt plans as new information becomes available.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Creates, distributes, and maintains project management tools to advance projects effectively
- Assesses and prioritizes project deliverables, addressing stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Communicates with resources to accomplish project tasks and maintain project schedules. Responsible for the flow of information from the project owner to the team regarding the project, including regular project status updates
- Proactively identifies and escalates barriers to project success. Partners with the project owner to ensure project timeliness
- Engage stakeholders to align scope to meet requirements, reduce risks, and manage costs
- Facilitate meaningful project meetings (in-person, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) only when necessary to the right audience with a clearly defined purpose and planned outcomes
- Cultivates and maintains solid relationships with business partners, internal associates, and vendors
- Produces workflows and other materials to document decisions and processes. Preserves documentation for future reference and use
- Work with minimal direction on complex, technical initiatives

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a Project / Program Management role in healthcare
- Experience managing projects utilizing an agile development approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Workfront
- Proficient in customer relations
- Proven record leading complex projects involving internal and external cross-functional work teams

- Self-motivator with strong organizational and planning skills
- Solid writing, presentation, critical thinking, and meeting leadership skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
