Marketing Programs and Project Manager

The Marketing Programs and Projects Manager will manage large-scale programs and projects with high levels of executive visibility that span cross-functional teams — such as strategic planning, go-to-market efforts, or operational change management initiatives that impact thousands of employees, millions of customers, and hundreds of millions of our users.

The ideal candidate will deliver through executive stakeholder management and strong cross-functional relationships at all levels, and use excellent communication to reach alignment across teams, keep projects on track, and have fun. As a key player in the Marketing & Communication PMO function, individuals in this function pair operational rigor with emotional intelligence to navigate complex challenges. Responsibilities:

  • Work with requestors and executive stakeholders to structure a program or project plan, including clarifying objectives, deliverables, and roles and responsibilities
  • Direct ongoing visibility and confidence in the plan with influential leaders and execution team members, drive team momentum and execution across cross functional groups
  • Quickly become the expert and hub of information on the project
  • Deliver regular executive level and cross-functional partner communications, including preparing content and delivering to senior executive audience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large, transformational go-to-market projects/initiatives within an enterprise organization
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executives to define project/initiative objectives, deliverables, and roles & responsibilities.
  • Setting and developing timelines, project management task lists, and divisions of duties
  • Managing logistics, operations, schedules, and production coordination
  • Demonstrated prowess in cross-functional collaboration; as well as influencing senior leaders and global teams
  • 6+ years of experience in program/project management
  • BA/BS degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Execution-driven. Oriented toward not just creating strategies but able to influence and push teams to drive tangible results
  • Willing to “get into the weeds” to help unblock issues or short-term resource constraints, while also maintaining a 30,000 ft view of the project and a focus on the objective
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, and comfort with using influence instead of authority to drive collaboration
  • Leadership skills, ability to lead partners consistently through times of uncertainty, pressure, or frustration
  • Proactiveness and creativity, to offer solutions and new work streams that improve chances of project success.
  • Comfort with autonomy, and ability to make decisions occasionally without consultation
  • Detail-oriented, comfortable with diving deeply with SMEs into process, technical issues, and other details to gain an understanding required to thoughtfully recommend how to navigate issues as they arise
  • Experience with strategic planning, marketing operations, product marketing, technology go-to-market initiatives preferred
  • MBA or consulting experience a plus

Additional Job Information: The hiring manager is NY-based, remote is welcome with willing to work flexible hours that can span EST and PST as needed.
