Global Amazon Marketing Manager

Summary/Objective
The Global Amazon Marketing Manager develops and executes Ruffwear’s marketing strategies on the Amazon platform. This role is responsible for building strategies and processes to drive sales, optimize product listings, and maximize brand visibility and profitability across multiple Amazon marketplaces worldwide. This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Performance Marketing and works closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, IT, and Operations, to optimize our brand presence on Amazon and achieve company goals.
Position Requirements
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global Amazon sales and marketing strategy aligned with company goals and insight from Sales and Marketing partners.
- Identify opportunities for growth, including new product launches, promotions, and advertising campaigns on Amazon across Ruffwear’s various global markets.
- Manage and optimize product listings across multiple Amazon marketplaces, ensuring content accuracy, keyword optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
- Implement best practices for Amazon SEO, A+ content, and Enhanced Brand Content to improve visibility and sales performance, and brief creative needs into the Creative team.
- Ensure product information, images, and reviews are accurate, compelling, and aligned with brand standards.
- Plan and execute Amazon advertising campaigns (e.g. Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Display Ads) to increase visibility and drive traffic to product pages in tandem with direction from Senior Director of Global Performance Marketing.
- Coordinate promotional activities, discounts, and deals to maximize sales and enhance brand presence on Amazon with oversight from the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales teams to optimize stock levels, forecast demand accurately, and ensure timely fulfillment for Amazon orders.
- Stay updated on Amazon policies, guidelines, and algorithm changes to ensure compliance and maximize performance within Amazon’s ecosystem.
- Utilize data insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify growth opportunities, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting (Ruffwear office or home office as necessary).
Work Hours
Early morning and/or evening hours are required to work with team members and partners in different time zones.
Travel
Occasional domestic travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in global e-commerce, digital marketing, or sales management, with a focus on Amazon channel management and global expansion.
- Advanced proficiency in Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Advertising Console, with hands-on experience in managing global Amazon accounts.
- Deep understanding of Amazon SEO, content optimization, and advertising strategies to drive traffic.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets through Amazon channels on a global scale.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Amazon Business Reports, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, NetSuite) to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working with Amazon SAS partner and Customer Success Manager (CSM).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and lead cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively across different regions and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Passion for dogs and first-hand understanding of the interactive bond between canines and humans.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the outdoor, apparel, and/or consumer products industry.
- Experience in managing international e-commerce operations and navigating cross-border logistics and regulatory requirements.
