Title: Marketing Copywriter

Location: United States

This is a remote role

We are looking for a copywriter who can not only write engaging, customer-facing copy but also, clever/conceptual headlines and ad concepts that stand out. You should be okay with pivoting from conceptual to more DM-style copy and headlines. The ideal candidate will have experience proofreading others’ work in a professional capacity.

Most of your work will live in marketing emails, banner ads, social media, web pages and print ads. You may also script video concepts for YouTube and other social media channels. You would collaborate as needed with designers, art directors, the content director and creative director. This position is remote, but you are welcome to set up shop in our Salt Lake City office.

Ideally, you have prior experience in a marketing department or ad agency as a Jr. Copywriter or Copywriter. You should also be collaborative and easy to work with. If you’re very sensitive about copy changes or edits to your work or take feedback personally, this may not by the best fit for you. If you’re flexible and reasonable and a good copywriter, you’ll thrive in this position. We’re a fun, scrappy and hard-working team. We have maintained a nice, low-drama work environment. Naturally, we’d love to keep it that way.


  • Create new articles and optimize old articles for SEO marketing purposes.
  • Use MarketMuse to optimize copy for SEO.
  • Proofread copy from other writers in time, this part of the job may be reduced significantly.
  • Write web page content for as we redesign our site
  • Work with UX/design to help optimize user flow and organization of web pages.
  • Ideate concepts for digital/print marketing and work with internal stakeholders to obtain approvals and ensure accuracy.
  • Ideate video concepts for our YouTube and social channels
  • Work with Product teams to understand the audiences we address and their needs. Unearth selling points to bring out in your concepts/copy.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time, working closely with our Project Manager to ensure deadlines are met and stakeholders are satisfied.
  • Regularly attend and participate in meetings regularly with marketing and external teams.


  • Proven work experience as a marketing copywriter or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio of marketing/advertising work (real or spec) you have ideated.
  • Experience writing SEO and social media copy desired.
  • Experience coming up with compelling campaigns or demonstrated ability via spec work.
  • Proficient in Word, Google Docs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Mad style.
