The Marketing Communications Specialist for Cardio Partners (CP) has a passion for storytelling with keen ability to tailor messaging based on audience and medium. This individual will work with the marketing team to create effective and on-brand messaging throughout the customer’s buying journey. As part of the digital marketing team, they will collaborate with peers cross-functionally to understand the goals of the business and create supporting content to assist in achieving those goals. This team member holds responsibility to maintain social media efforts daily and develop and execute content strategies for blogs, campaigns, landing pages, news articles, and more.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Summary:

As part of the digital marketing team, they will collaborate with peers cross-functionally to understand the goals of the business and create supporting content to assist in achieving those goals. This team member holds responsibility to maintain social media efforts daily and develop and execute content strategies for blogs, campaigns, landing pages, news articles, and more.

Organizational Impact:

This role allows the marketing team to effectively communicate to and reach customers throughout the buyer journey. Content and social efforts will directly impact a customer’s understanding of our products, services, and capabilities, while creating urgency and sound reasons to purchase critical equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling and engaging copy for marketing materials including product descriptions, landing pages, flyers, brochures, emails, internal newsletter, video scripts and more.
  • Maintain company blogs on ecommerce websites; create blog posts tailoring messages to audience; add relevant links and upsell products; report on blog effectiveness and propose approaches for continuous improvement.
  • Work with SEO vendors to tailor webpage and blog copy to meet keyword, description, length, and content depth requirements.
  • Efficiently monitor, create content, post, and measure effectiveness on social media channels.
  • Stay up to date with latest social media outlets, best practices, ways to interact, hashtags, and more.
  • Oversee and respond to customer reviews, consolidating themes and escalating to appropriate groups.
  • Work cross-functionally with team Designer and Campaign Specialist to craft effective content pieces that increase brand awareness, generate leads, encourage engagement, and contribute to sales.
  • Coordinate and organize donation program; review and evaluate submissions, notify customer receiving donation; coordinate PR and social effort around donation.
  • Research and contact industry-specific and local media outlets, publications, and websites for article and team features, placements, and interviews.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and professionalism in responding to and escalating customer comments and concerns.
  • Solid time management and ability to meet deadlines and create and adhere to content calendars.
  • Creative mindset with ability to use image creation software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva or similar with the goal to create eye-catching and on-branding supporting images for social media and blogs.
  • Deep knowledge of social media best practices, with a habit of keeping a pulse on changes in the industry and platforms.

Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising or related field.
  • At least 3 years of digital marketing experience required, with at least 2 years of experience directly managing social media.
  • Developing effective content to increase engagement and site traffic
  • Ability to successfully work in a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated positive energy to effectively work with internal and external teams.
