This position is responsible for WFM inbound/outbound traffic control and back-office work processing within Optum Financial Services contact centers. Position will provide oversight of analysts with capabilities in forecasting workload, scheduling resources to the work, and monitoring real-time performance of staff and workload. Also provides analytical support and creating visibility into performance opportunities. Partnering with Operations Management Leadership in finding solutions to best balance customer service, employee satisfaction, and cost. Person in this role will execute business continuity plan execution, create intraday planning reviews, and implement Optum standard processes/solutions to internal customers. Workforce Management is a leveraged service that helps businesses deliver on financial objectives through improved performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team.
  • May oversee work activities of other supervisors
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal and external)

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Contact Center experience
  • 5+ years of Workforce Management experience
  • Change Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • Client Account Management or Project Management experience
  • Six Sigma experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The Salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The Salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
