Responsibilities of the Manager for Resource Planning and Management will include:

  • Facilitating the staffing of consultants to projects and NBD efforts, connecting them to projects based on their skillsets, availability, and professional development goals
  • Work with consulting leads (Practice Area Leads, Service Line Leads and Worktype Leads) to track upcoming projects and monitor talent pipeline (e.g., consultants available for staffing and NBD) to maintain balance of supply and demand
  • Work with consulting leads to identify skills needed for projects or work activities and match skill requirements with consulting pool
  • Coordinate and lead weekly staffing meetings with consulting leads
  • Track capacity of current consultants and communicate to practice leads
  • Recommend best available teams for each project balancing client, team, and individual needs, and share recommendations with practice leads
  • Partnering with VP of People and Operations to provide coaching and guidance to consultants based on their career development goals, connecting them to resources, collecting feedback from colleagues, and serving as a mentor / thought-partner
  • Coordinate between consultant and project lead to help resolve any issues (e.g., need for additional staff, performance issues based on skill level, quality, etc.)
  • Take on administrative responsibilities such as but not limited to:
  • Supporting Sales Force entry and tracking
  • Monitoring chargeability and NBD metrics
  • Monthly reporting on training hours for new hires
  • Assist with development of action plans to increase utilization for consultants fall below thresholds
  • Participate in first round and screener interviews for new associates
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preference of five (5) years of experience in managed markets marketing/market access within the pharmaceutical industry or a managed markets/market access agency servicing the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated ability advising on talent management and employee development plans, preferred

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Broad understanding of work types within AB global consulting (based on content areas and skills needed)
  • Interpersonal skills (ability to develop trust, provide guidance, manage conflict)
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft (MS) 365 products and applications, specifically MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Teams
