POSITION SUMMARY

As a Manager, Consulting PMO you will be at the forefront of driving excellence in project management, team leadership, and client satisfaction, contributing significantly to the success and growth of Domo’s consulting services. This role will play a pivotal role in driving successful project delivery, mentoring a team of project managers, and providing strategic guidance to our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team of Project Managers in driving the successful execution of complex consulting projects from initiation to closure, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards;
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented project environment;
  • Contribute to the Project Management Office (PMO) framework at Domo, championing project governance, process standardization, and overall project performance improvement;
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the PMO team, cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in alignment with Domo’s strategic objectives;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Domo’s clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs, and aligning project objectives with strategic goals;
  • Collaborate proactively with clients to identify opportunities for improvement, offering valuable insights and recommendations that drive successful project outcomes;
  • Oversee a portfolio of implementation projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of solutions that consistently meet or exceed client expectations;
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans, continuously tracking progress and making informed adjustments to achieve project goals and maximize client satisfaction.

Performance Metrics and Reporting Excellence

  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders internally and externally;
  • Analyze project performance data, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and innovation opportunities to continuously elevate project delivery standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in project management, PMO leadership, and implementation management within a consulting environment;
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team;
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments with a high degree of autonomy;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation tools such as MS PowerPoint;
  • Proven experience in building consulting capacity models to optimize team performance and resource utilization;
  • Direct experience with a variety of enterprise software platforms, marketing analytics, and/or business intelligence platforms;
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
