Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

Location: United States – Remote

MyFitnessPal is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist. You will be responsible for the day-to-day hands-on creation, execution, and optimization of lifecycle campaigns in our customer engagement platform, Braze. You will own the end-to-end campaign creation and reporting process, including executing and reporting on A/B tests and making recommendations for improving performance. The role will provide global support and work closely with the Product Marketing, Product, Content, Media, Partnerships, Business Intelligence, and Data Engineering teams.

You will be entrepreneurial, data-oriented, and hands-on. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of internal data and leverage the data to refine marketing segmentation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce end-to-end email, push, and in-app notification campaigns, including coding dynamic, personalized communications in HTML, setting-up/editing multiple programs within a deployment, recommending and/or refining targeting segmentation, developing schedules, recommending optimization rules, auditing campaigns and journeys produced by the Lifecycle Marketing Managers, and conducting pre-deployment checks
  • Build and execute A/B tests in e-blasts and automated workflows. Partner with the Business Intelligence team to accurately track A/B tests and day-to-day performance of programs
  • Maintain reporting and baseline metrics and make recommendations for campaign/message optimization based on ongoing data analysis and industry best practices
  • Lead requesting additional data feeds in or out of the customer data platform to deliver desired customer segmentations and communications
  • Manage deliverability rates, bounce/block reports, and resolve any issues
  • Proactively identify opportunities that help achieve the goals of the Customer Engagement team
  • Make updates to copy and URL links in transactional and marketing workflow emails as needed
  • Identify and mitigate potential issues to avoid negative impacts to our customers, internal clients, and brand
  • Remain extremely detail-focused while managing multiple email campaigns simultaneously
  • Serve as liaison with cross-functional teams on needs and requirements for communication requests. Manage intake process and campaign Implementation

Qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • 2-4 years of email and/or multi-channel marketing campaigns, with hands-on production including HTML coding, automated customer journeys, A/B testing and audience queries. Experience using Braze preferred
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams
  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital analytics tools (Tableau, Google Analytics)
