We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team; this position is 100% remote. Extensive Salesforce experience including Sales Cloud, CPQ and Force.com a must.

The candidate will be responsible for the timely, accurate development and delivery of CRM and workflow solutions and will need to be familiar with Salesforce/Apex, Force, Visualforce, Flows and J2EE technologies.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business/operations unit, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance requirements are closely monitored by working with the development teams.

This position requires extensive previous Salesforce development experience. Project design and supervisory experience helpful but not necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide insight on current Salesforce processes and oversee the peer review of administrator configurations
  • Monitor org and provide feedback on test coverage levels and other similar statistics
  • Develop required Lightning Components, APEX classes, triggers, visualforce, aura coding, and flows to ensure the successful completion of sprint requirements
  • Complete SOQL, SOSL, and SQL database queries and assist with mass updates as required
  • Manage releases including preparation, documentation, and formal release processes
  • Serve as the system architect by performing complex configurations and advising the administrator team on baseline changes
  • Communicate with product owners and stakeholders on complex changes when needed
  • Document system changes as they occur and maintain document repository
  • Provide product owners with risk assessments and recommendations for change requests
  • Assist in the management of support tickets that require advanced configurations
  • Implement and manage system integrations via APIs and managed packages
  • Work closely with QA team members to ensure issues identified in testing are completed appropriately
  • Provide insight on estimated completion times during sprint planning to ensure capacity levels are met

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in Salesforce CRM app development with strong expertise in Sales Cloud and CPQ at a service-oriented enterprise level of complexity.
  • Experience with Lightning Components, Design System, APEX Classes, Triggers, Visualforce, Approval Processes, Aura, and Flow.
  • Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented programming.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com integration, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools and AppExchange packages.
  • Experience with database design concepts and use of SOQL, SOSL, and SQL.
  • Experience and Proficiency in programming using Salesforce SFDC, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions.
  • Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers
  • Strong practical deployment knowledge of Visualforce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, and Salesforce.com s-controls.
  • Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk).
  • Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.
  • Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods and practice Agile software development methodologies.
  • Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and operations procedures including participation in code reviews.
  • Ability to define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver a CRM solution.
  • Experience with Git principles, merging, managing branches, and resolving conflicts within an Azure environment
  • Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring technical teams of varying skill levels.
  • Knowledge of data design, architecture, relational databases, and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce DX.
  • Experience with JavaScript, J2EE, HTML, XML, WSDL, SQL, Oracle and CSS.
  • Experience leading activities on structured team development projects.
  • Experience with ETL and integration platform tools (MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, Talend) a plus but not required

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator credential required
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I credential required
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist credential preferred
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II/Platform App Builder/JavaScript Developer I/Advanced Administrator/Technical Architect/Solutions Architect credentials a plus
