As a Lead Product Management & Development Manager, you drive collaborative work efforts to create the perfect customer experience symphony. The position will play a key role in outlining and achieving how customers perceive the company while driving higher customer satisfaction, NPS, customer retention, and new business growth. This role will work with the Transformation team that is shaping the future of the AT&T Wireless and Broadband products by ensuring a unified user experience that will simplify the offerings and achieve the best customer experience and service possible.

As a seasoned product professional, you understand industry trends, new and emerging product technologies, and applications. You will collaborate across analytics and design teams to determine the best customer experience for our consumer wireless customers in the areas of Account Management, Billing, Payments, Fraud, Credit and Collections. A successful candidate will be able to effectively articulate the opportunities, the impact to the business and customer, and be able to gain support in cross multi-discipline business teams to influence changes on policies and working with technology teams to articulate the vision and ensure proper delivery.

Preferred location is Dallas, TX. Other domestic U.S. locations will be considered.

Components of this role include:

  • Research, design, plan, develop and evaluate new Wireless Billing and Account Management features by translating and documenting customer requirements for product design
  • Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products features or services and enhancements
  • Partner with business, technology and UX teams to design a product that will meet the needs of the business with minimal investment
  • Create product roadmaps and project plans
  • Will develop business case and product analysis reports to support new product feature considerations and growth. This process may include all or part of the following steps – product research and discovery, vetting, business case development, negotiation of terms, and product launch ownership/support
  • Responsible for multi-year product planning, looking to industry and competitive dynamics, standards and emerging technologies that will shape consumer demand and experience
  • Identify, monitor, and analyze internal and external factors to reposition, modify features and identify new product solutions
  • Support product planning and customer journey mapping
  • Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align objectives and delivery
  • Create new enhancements or applications in anticipation of or in response to, market, competitor, or regulatory influences
  • Translate new technologies and market requirements into product design
  • Establish reporting metrics and reporting to assess Wireless Billing, Payments and Account Management features and financial performance
  • Provide readouts to leadership level regarding products and plans as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years product management experience in consumer new product development
  • Strong outreach and collaboration skills
  • Expertise in translating business problems into solutions
  • Experience in the Product Development process
  • Experience in Competitive Analysis, Customer Experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in executing projects from ideation to completion
  • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
  • A product evangelist comfortable with conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies, or applications to senior-level management and across a diverse product team
  • Proven ability to successfully partner with other organizations that include technology, network, and device teams
  • Experience in any one of these areas Account Management, Billing, Payments, Fraud, Credit and Collections highly desired, but not required
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or related field of study preferred
  • MBA desired
