ABOUT THE ROLE
Welcome to Treecard, where leadership means getting your hands dirty in code! As a Lead Product Engineer at Treecard, you won’t just be overseeing from the sidelines you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our cutting-edge mobile experiences. Expect your days to be filled with dynamic challenges, as you lead a team dedicated to the delivery of features that truly matter.
Our team is fully remote and this role can be based anywhere in the UK or US EST Time Zone! We also have a WeWork office available to our London teammates if preferred (usually 1-2x/week) and you should plan to travel 3x per year to our global team retreats in some really cool places!
Salary range for this role is 110-130k GBP or $180-195k USD + equity, tailored to your background and experience.
Your Impact
- Mentorship and Motivation: Drive your team’s success through hands-on mentorship and regular one-on-ones. Your leadership will be pivotal in leveling up our development talent.
- Technical Strategy: Shape the technical strategy to ensure our mobile apps not only keep up but lead the way in tandem with our rapid growth.
- Product Delivery: In this role, you’re not just a code maestro; you’re a key player in all aspects of product delivery. We believe in a collaborative approach, where every Treecard team member is encouraged to contribute ideas from product ideation to innovative work methodologies.
Sound like you?
- Expertise in Typescript and React Native.
- Proven experience across multiple senior or lead engineering positions.
- A product mindset and the courage to contribute innovative suggestions.
- Previous startup experience, especially in a leadership role, is a strong plus.
- Genuine concern about the climate crisis and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
