At Osano, we’re on a mission to do well by doing good – especially in the fast-growing data privacy space! As we continue to innovate and deliver new features to our privacy platform, we’re looking for a Lead Privacy Architext to join our Privacy team so we can scale even further!

Reporting directly to the Head of Privacy, this will be a highly visible + cross-functional role, having a big impact on our ability to grow and scale. In this role, you will help guide + enable customers and partners as a thought leader in both data privacy, as well as our platform offerings. You’ll also work with the broader team to drive customer engagement and promote our platforms adoption by their users. You’ll lead privacy enablement efforts, both internally and externally, and help create training programs by partnering cross-functionally that facilitate growth of our platform. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of global privacy regulations, privacy technologies, and operationalizing privacy programs with an educational mindset.

Compensation
Based on your skills and experience, you can expect your annual base compensation to be between $120,000 and $140,000. We want everyone at Osano to have a stake in our success, so you’ll also receive stock options upon joining the company.

The Role

  • Develop and maintain alliances with customers + prospects to help customers use Osano technologies so they can meet their privacy compliance goals.
  • Enable customers + partners as a subject matter expert with knowledge of the privacy landscape and Osanos platform offerings to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Develop and manage programs to facilitate customer privacy gap assessments.
  • Work with our Partnerships and go-to-marketteams to develop materials that enable partners, engage customers, and assist with exciting prospects to buy Osanos platform.
  • Contribute to Revenue efforts, including product-privacy webinars, conferences, and IAPP events.
  • Provide feedback on internal use of Osanos product to contribute toward our product development use-cases.
  • Lead privacy enablement programs, both internally and externally, including automated trainings in company documentation to further promote our privacy culture through enterprise-wide education, as well as educational sessions to support awareness + overcome customer challenges.
  • Maintain enablement resources + creating additional resources when gaps are identified.
  • Collaborate with the greater Privacy team to support reviews of complex vendor assessments, particularly those with product integrations or tech-based partnerships. Additionally, providing recommendations of any relevant privacy tech risk mitigations based on customer risk appetite or talk-track considerations.

About You

  • You have 6+ years of recent privacy experience in US and/or international privacy laws + regulations (including CPRA, GDPR, and more).
  • Strong familiarity with using privacy platforms and/or GRC platforms.
  • You enjoy staying up-to-date on data privacy issues + trends around the world. Youwill also have your CIPT, CISSP, or similar certification.
  • You have superior project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • You have strong knowledge in customer use cases of privacy technology adoption.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You are able to communicate effectively inEnglish, and you may also be fluent in another language (preferred).
  • You have strong knowledge, continued proactive interest and self-development in regulatory and compliance frameworks such as: NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27018 and ISO 27701.
  • Experience documenting data flows, guidance documents and supporting technical compliance documentation.
  • You might have spent some time in aprivacy consulting, GRC or compliance operations role.
  • Experience in providing governance in technology environments leveraging machine learning and AI desirable.
  • You are highly motivated and thrive as a partner to other internal teams. You know how important it is to be accountable + have a strong ownership of your work.
