Title: Lead Instructor: Cloud Support Specialist

Your impact

Lead Instructors play a key role in Correlation One training. They train Fellows in Correlation One’s programs and work with company operations personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes. Their main focus as educators is to conduct large synchronous online lectures on technical content, training anywhere from 20 to 2,000 Fellows, depending on the program.

A day in the life

  • Lead the instruction of a virtual classroom ; these typically consist of between 200-1000 Fellows (though potentially more, depending on the program). This includes:
    • Instruct Fellows using Cloud Support Specialist content provided by Correlation One
    • Prepare in advance for all assigned live sessions and provide curricular input and feedback ahead of sessions.
    • Offer additional expertise and resources from the Cloud Support community.
    • In some cases and if there is candidate interest, Instructors may also support curriculum development, when interested and for additional compensation.
  • Collaborate with Correlation One operations personnel to perform class duties well and stay on schedule.

Required dates and times for lectures

  • January 24 – June 14, 2024
  • Time: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 – 6:00 pm EST

Your expertise (requirements)

  • 6-8 years of professional work experience in Cloud Support, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, DevOps, etc..
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software engineering, Computer engineering, Information systems, Network administration, or Cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Linux+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Must be an Amazon Authorized Instructor (AAI)
  • Teaching experience with adult learners
  • A desire to support students in expanding their careers and transitioning into technical roles
  • Fluent in English; professional verbal and writing skills
