Do you want to be at the intersection of art and science? We are looking for an experienced analyst that will take the lead to generate insights on how we can offer jaw dropping customer value within our Do It Yourself (DIY) design experience. What You Will Do:
- Be a trailblazer to transform Vista into one of the most iconic data driven companies and think outside of the box on how we can take design to the next level. You will leverage your entrepreneurial spirit, critical thinking, and analytics experience to generate bold, innovative perspectives on what and how we deliver.
- Enhance data driven decision making within a cross-functional product team, working closely with product management, technology, and user experiences. You’re an active listener and strong communicator, enabling you to collaborate across the team while proactively bringing your trailblazing ideas to the team.
- Operate in a fast paced, agile environment that focuses on transforming the design experience incrementally, thereby requiring creative thinking and flexibility to achieve robust data driven decision making in the long run.
- Continue to sharpen your analytics skillset by crafting and executing on experiments that you defined with your product team, as well as delivering data exploration, visualization, and self-service reports.
- Take on challenges and tackle sophisticated problems, from data wrangling to process improvements, driven by your innate go-getter ambition. Design is a sophisticated, non-linear journey, so both the data and customer experience solutions will require a high level of sophistication.

- You are an innovator and entrepreneur, proactively bringing your perspectives and ideas to the table

- You are experienced in weighing pragmatism against robust measurement to craft and complete experiments (e.g. A/B/n test vs. pre-post analysis, learning agenda priorities)
- You have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to deliver on projects supporting multiple business partners
- You are a well-rounded e-commerce analyst, with strong competency in:
- Core skills, such as SQL, A/B/n test design and end to end execution, site tracking exploration
- Understand statistical concepts and translate it to business insights
- Visualization tools, such as Tableau, Looker
- Site analytics tool, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Testing tools, such as Optimizely or Google Optimize
- You have 6+ years in an eCommerce environment to showcase all the qualifications above
Nice to Have:
- Proven experience leading exploratory analysis, using statistical techniques to find substantial patterns and trends in the data
- Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology
- Experience with Agile methodology and use of Jira to handle work
- Other programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
