We are seeking a junior level designer to support our account-based marketing team. The candidate should be a talented, collaborative person who can not only create smart, original, and effective content but can develop a strategy around it. The designer will be responsible for producing content that matches the company’s brand, aesthetic, and marketing strategies including, but not limited to, landing pages, digital ads, in-person event collateral, and direct mail kits. The designer will work closely with an art director and a copywriter. The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology to produce eye-catching and informative content.

Junior Designer responsibilities include:

  • Proven experience designing for marketing campaigns, including print and digital collateral
  • Concepting, executing, and editing design content that aligns with the company voice/vision and marketing goals
  • Understanding the business and industry of our targeted brand accounts
  • Researching accounts to thoroughly understand the target audience and project information
  • Understand the nuances of each online platform and how to adapt and optimize content per channel
  • Bringing an attitude of humility, integrity, and fun to your work and leadership
  • Demonstrating a capacity to remain positive and be decisive with a bias toward action during times of ambiguity takes initiative to move forward, and seek project information needed
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining a commitment to excellence and impeccable attention to detail
  • Prioritizing projects to manage multiple tasks at once; able to work with project management to meet all deadlines
  • Working quickly and effectively under tight deadlines
  • Maintaining strong, trusted relationships with all members of the creative team, as well as members of the campaign team
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/related fields or equivalent work experience
  • Experience designing for both web and print
  • A portfolio that displays integrated campaigns and effective, compelling designs.
  • Highly organized, proactive, multifaceted
  • Capable of working on concurrent projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present design ideas and concepts
  • Ability to understand and interpret business objectives to guide execution
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to find information and deliver solutions
  • Strong presentation skills, and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conceptual skills
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, experience with Figma is a plus
