The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating seamless user experiences and a keen interest in the intersection of technology and biological research. Example projects Include: The Monarch Initiative: Developing and enhancing the front-end components of a web application that serves complex genetic, phenotypic, and genomic data from a graph database, aimed at both scientific researchers and clinicians. Real-World Data Analytics Dashboards: Creating interactive, user-friendly dashboards that present data analyses and insights derived from real-world Electronic Health Record data linkages, catering to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The Web Developer position will play an important role in advancing the mission of TISLab led by Dr. Melissa Haendel. TISLab focuses on areas such as automated and manual bio data curation, knowledge representation, semantic engineering, automated reasoning, and the development and evaluation of algorithms and software systems that advance these practices in support of artificial intelligence.
