About the Role

As the Network Administrator, you will help transform the growing IT team at Stitch Fix, while building your own skills and creating an amazing experience for your colleagues. You will support the day-to-day network operations of our various physical sites, build documentation, and emphasize superior support models. You will support our downtown San Francisco headquarters and our various remote offices, distribution centers, engineers, and stylists. Stitch Fix is primarily a Cisco Meraki network environment.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will

  • Primarily work with cloud-based Cisco Meraki Dashboard for network configuration.
  • Remotely support on-site IT specialists and end-users in multiple locations nationwide, responding to escalations and automated alerts.
  • Manage new facility network builds.
  • Configure and set up new and existing Cisco Meraki MX security appliances, MS switches, and MR wireless access points.
  • Establish timelines and best practices to validate and deploy network firmware releases.
  • Evaluate and implement remote network monitoring tools and alerting thresholds, such as AppNeta or Thousand Eyes
  • Manage ISP connectivity and contract relationships, including failover and high network availability.
  • Implement and maintain IPsec VPN technologies site-to-site and client VPN.
  • Maintain network-connected hardware and services, such as VOIP and time clock systems.
  • Help keep our IT tickets fresh and alive using Freshservice, other experience welcome.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory, asset tracking, and change management.
  • Show a positive outlook (not Outlook) and humor by making IT nothing less than an immersive, atypical experience for all of our co-workers.
  • Familiar with productivity SaaS platforms like GSuite, OneLogin, Slack, Box, Freshservice, etc
  • Mentor and assist co-workers and vendors for continuity of policies and procedures instituted by our team.
  • Be a part of our rotating on-call support for cloud application and network related issues.

You may also

  • Utilize log management tools like DataDog or Splunk to diagnose network issues and monitor network health.
  • Manage authentication to RADIUS and other systems integrated with the OneLogin directory.
  • Assist with asset tracking and physical inventory of network and related hardware.
  • Determine the network hardware lifecycle and evaluate new products and technologies.
  • Provide network support for AV systems LifeSize, BlueJeans, Zoom, DialPad, and EventBoard functioning well and assist in running larger all-hands style meetings.

We’re excited about you because

  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience with Cisco Meraki networks in multiple distributed physical locations.
  • You have experience in drafting and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Your experience includes at least 5+ years of administering large corporate networks.
  • You understand and troubleshoot the essentials of wired and wireless connectivity.
  • You have contributed to the deployment of VLANs, traffic shaping, switch and link aggregation, and strong resilient networks.
  • You have experience with managing network-dependent applications such as VOIP and video conferencing systems.
  • You interact with local and remote IT resources as your eyes and hands.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively when writing ticket updates to onsite and remote users.
  • You thrive in high-volume, fast-paced, and feedback-driven environments.
