The Opportunity:
Recurrent Ventures is looking to hire an IT Manager to join our team and work cross-functionally in supporting our portfolio companies. The IT Manager will support the VP of Technology and the Tech integrations team to enable and implement org-wide initiatives and overall IT posture across the entire organization.
The Responsibilities:
- Work with VP of Technology and cross-org departments to manage and supervise the growing IT Department. Collaborate on setting initiatives and the culture of IT both as a valued internal department and an external asset/business partner.
- Assist with Integration/Migration of acquired brands and managing incoming assets.
- Manage the next hires for the IT department, as well as prepare training curriculums and internal training with the VP of Technology.
- Triage Tier 1-3 tickets, escalate when necessary.
- Assist in managing G Suite/Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, Jira/Confluence, and other applications across the organization.
- Design and implement basic organizational information security policies such as 2FA/MFA
- Work with VP of Tech and Internal stakeholders to provide direction, guidance, and training company-wide on systems, onboarding, offboarding, daily operational tools and services
- Onboard new employees into our IT infrastructure and processes
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance, and improving on both workflows and systems
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
- Facilitate integrations with engineering systems and platforms
The Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in IT and IT Infrastructure
- MacOS experience required
- MDM technologies (ex. JAMF, Kanji and Apple Business Manager) experience required
- Experience implementing and managing G Suite, Slack, password manager, Atlassian products, CMS tools, Google Analytics and basics
- Experience with setup and advanced maintenance of G Suite, Antivirus systems like crowdstrike, falcon, current tech stack
The Person:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- AWS experience preferred, but not required
- Information security experience preferred, but not required.
