Title: Instructional Designer

Location: Remote – USA

The HubSpot Enablement Team is growing! Our mission is to help our go-to-market (GTM – Customer Success and Sales) teams have the highest possible impact, so our customers and employees can GROW better. Not familiar with enablement? Enablement is a collaborative effort that equips employees with high-impact skills, information, and tools to create value in each customer interaction while helping our team members develop in the process.

As HubSpot continues to grow and scale, we must create new and innovative ways to engage learners in a hybrid work environment. We’re seeking an Instructional Designer who will design and create content that empowers our global GTM team members to deliver an exceptional experience to customers and prospects. You’ll partner with our enablement team and GTM leadership to deliver this content to our learners in the most meaningful way possible. You’ll need to be comfortable with ongoing change and learning on-the-fly!

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Collaborate with Enablement and GTM team members to identify our highest-impact learning priorities
  • Experiment with innovative content development & distribution strategies to engage our learners
  • Design learning solutions that bridge gaps and increase rep performance
  • Develop multiple types of modalities including virtual instructor-led trainings, eLearning, videos, one-pagers, and more
  • Improve, refine, and maintain existing content
  • Conduct research with the GTM team as needed to inform content strategy

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a background in learning design or proven experience developing enablement content
  • Have previous experience with virtual course design and can adapt to evolving learner personas
    • Experience with Articulate Rise & Storyline a plus
  • Have knowledge of the world of adult learning and have 2+ years experience in the GTM or enablement industry
  • Form strong partnerships with others and view them as essential to getting things done
  • Enjoy finding new, creative ways to engage and motivate remote learners
  • Can produce and edit videos and scripts
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a growth mindset, a passion for helping others, and a roll up your sleeves work style

Cash compensation range: 90,400 – 113,000 – 135,600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
