About the Role
The ideal candidate for this position must be a strong team player and is able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration and contribute to a positive and productive team environment. It’s beneficial for this individual to have a background in creating training content of superior quality that has a positive impact on revenue.
Responsibilities
- Conduct needs analysis from multiple sources and identify learning objectives to determine the skills and knowledge gaps that the organization needs to address.
- Collaborate in a consultative manner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and internal stakeholders to gather information, review content, and propose effective instructional design techniques.
- Develop instructional materials which include needs analysis, storyboards, eLearning modules, training videos, assessments, graphic/multimedia designs, and documentation/job aids/guides.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including setting deadlines, coordinating with team members, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- The Instructional Designer in this role is comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance content design, streamline course updates, and improve the overall learning experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in one of the following: Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Design & Technology, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Organizational Development.
- 5+ years of instructional design experience required
- Ability to translate training needs into practical learning solutions
- Knowledge and use of adult learning theory, the systemic design of instruction, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and performance improvement methodologies to create engaging training content
- Technical Experience: Expert user in Articulate 360 Cloud (Storyline and Rise), experience in Camtasia, SnagIt, Adobe Creative Suites
- Team player – able to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various departments.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Experience in creating training content of superior quality that has a positive impact on revenue.
- Foreign language skills are beneficial but not essential
- Experience working on a global sales enablement team or creating training for sales
- Experience with section 508 web-content accessibility guidelines
