Instructional Designer
Remote
As a member of the Customer Success team, your primary role is to design and develop training materials that help customers learn how to use our products.
You will be responsible for engaging with customer success managers, product managers, and marketing personnel to determine needs, develop new materials, update existing materials, and analyze their effectiveness. Developing strong relationships with these teams will be imperative to your success.
The training materials you can expect to create include PDF handouts, narrated videos, facilitator guides, and help articles. You will be responsible for ensuring that training materials are effective and tailored to the needs of the audience, which is primarily healthcare providers.
We’re looking for a process-driven individual with a wide range of skills and experience in all stages of the instructional design process.
Ok, you’re sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?
- Relationship building: Ability to communicate with professionalism and build trusted relationships with other departments.
- Instructional design: Ability to conduct needs assessments, develop learning objectives, choose instructional strategies, and develop final materials.
- Project management: Drive projects using instructional design methodologies and manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities.
- Writing: Ability to convey complex topics in a succinct and clear manner. Ability to write narration for videos, help articles, and manage feedback.
- Video production: Experience recording screencasts and basic video editing. Experience with recording mobile devices is a plus.
- Audio production: Ability to record narration and edit it as necessary.
- Graphic design: Ability to create PDF handouts that incorporate text and graphics, with fine attention to detail.
- Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-moving organization that uses light-weight processes and cutting-edge technology to have a huge impact.

- Detail Oriented: You have a high degree of attention to small details along with the ability to quickly iterate.
Requirements:*
- Three years of instructional design experience
- Portfolio of projects
- Solid understanding of instructional design models and learning theories
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
- Experience with screencasting and video editing
- Experience with narration and audio editing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
