Job Description
Our client, a well-known retail apparel company, is looking for an Instructional Designer to join their team for a remote 9 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and create tailored learning solutions.
- Develop engaging learning experiences using various formats: instructor-led, experiential, online, and mobile.
- Coordinate and manage the logistics and scheduling of training programs.
- Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and leadership training as needed.
- Deliver Gap Inc. training as required.
- Choose and design training materials, such as handbooks, models, and multimedia aids.
- Communicate project details and updates to all stakeholders.
- Oversee content creation and quality control for training materials.
- Explore and suggest innovative training methods for adult learners.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience using Learning Management Systems
- 5+ years of Web Design, Multimedia Training Design, or Instructional Design.
- 5+ years in training delivery and instructional design of multimedia learning applications and classroom-based learning
- Experience in facilitation and training program management.
- Industry experience with knowledge of frontline work environments.
- Expertise in Training and Adult Education Theory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and eLearning technologies (SCORM, HTML, etc.).
