Reporting into the Senior Manager, Global Retail L&D, you will partner with the global retail learning and development team to design, develop, and maintain the best programs to engage learners and support Levis DTC goals and projects, and drive results. This position is open to remote candidates in the United States of America.
About the Job
- Create instructional design and development of retail learning programs enterprise wide.
- Produce and edit micro-learning videos as part of blended learning approach.
- Partner with Global Retail Learning & Development team to conduct needs analysis to determine content development solutions based on measurable learning goals.
- Have a complete understanding of each retail position, aligning and adapting to ensure relevance in all learning resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) on course design and development to translate business content into learner-centered experiences.
- Apply adult learning theories, instructional design, and creative approaches to develop digital and instructor-led learning solutions.
- Support technical facilitation of virtual learning programs and forums offered through video conferencing platforms.
- In partnership with LMS Administrator, develop reporting to measure training results and effectiveness.
- Conduct store visits to observe training effectiveness, identify gaps and gather feedback.
About You
- 5-7 years instructional design and/or training/communication experience, with 2+ years of experience designing solutions for a large geographically dispersed workforce.
- Experience managing Learning Management System content.
- Strong technical skills including experience with graphic design, video editing, micro-learning, gamification, and ability to learn eLearning tools (Articulate 360).
- Fluent in instructional design theory and practical application.
- Ability to provide consultation and exercise accurate discernment to support synthesis of ideas.
- Experience in training development for retail.
