About the Team

Implementation Associates are at the ground floor of building DoorDash’s next big business. You will be in direct contact with new merchants joining our platform, and aid them in Onboarding and Implementation. Onboarding Success Associates partner closely with our Account Executives and catalog team to strengthen the relationships with our prospective merchants and make sure their store page shines. This is a critical role in closing deals due to the varying nature of these businesses and complex inventory.

About the Role

Implementation Associates are responsible for implementation and onboarding of our New Vertical merchants, and providing the best merchant and consumer experience possible. They will partner with Account Executives to close deals quickly and efficiently, while ensuring the sales to onboarding implementation process is easy, requiring little effort from our merchants. Implementation Associates will use their communication skills and a heavy dose of creative problem solving to ensure we have all the information we need from a merchant to get them live on DoorDash.

You will report to the Implementation Associate Team Lead.

You must have a minimum of 1 year in your current role to be eligible for applying to this role

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will

  • Minimize instances of drop off in the sales funnel between the contract stage and closing the deal through excellent communication, support and relationship building with the merchant.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to identify opportunities to streamline processes and make the sales and onboarding experience of a merchant as seamless as possible.
  • Work on one of the most challenging problems to solve in e-commerce – solving for thousands of unique items and limited existing data.
  • Engage merchants every day, starting at contract signed stage to accelerate the time from contract stage to activation and ensure a successful launch.
