The primary focus of this position is to support and maintain the Kronos Workforce Dimensions and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) applications for EnerSys in addition to other modules/systems supported by the HRIS team. The HRIS Analyst will be the technical point of contact across multiple functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, implementation, system support, system releases and testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing business and data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports other technical projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Production Support: Provide support for all HR Systems (primarily focusing on Kronos Workforce Dimensions and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll), including researching and resolving issues, unexpected results or process flaws; partnering closely with the payroll and technical teams; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Understand both the strategic and functional intentions for the EnerSys HRIS solutions.
  • System Releases: Review, test and implement application releases. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Document process and results.
  • Implementation: Participate in future application implementation projects by providing support to requirement gathering and documentation, business process mapping and design, data conversions, system configurations, testing, deployment, cutover coordination, training and system post go live stabilization.
  • Data Integrity: Evaluate data within the systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, security and data integrity. Engage with stakeholders to prioritize and act on resolving data integrity issues and opportunities for continuous improvements and standardization for supported applications.
  • Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; develop and administer standard reports for statistical analysis and ongoing customer needs (including metrics); develop and administer system dashboards. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running audit queries and analyzing data.
  • Projects/Process Improvements: Manages the projects/process improvements, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
    • Follows SOX guidelines, IT Governance Controls (ITGC) and Lean methodologies/tools.
    • Use project management skills in managing projects.
    • Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities.
    • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
    • Compares data from different sources to draw conclusions.
    • Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions.
    • Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.
    • Uses these data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
    • Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
    • Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., learning, IT).
  • Change Management: Partner with the learning department to develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Communicate key system enhancements/fixes as necessary to key stakeholders and/or the organization.
  • Partner directly with Human Resources (HR) and Payroll subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business processes, hone requirements and evaluate how to best implement solutions.
  • Anticipates customer needs, monitor trends in order to recommend functionality enhancements; provide technical advice that enables a customer to solve a problem or improve business processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least 5 years of work related experience.
  • At least 2 years of Kronos cloud configuration experience to include hands on experience with requirements gathering, design/development, and testing.
  • At least 2 years of SAP Payroll or Employee Central Payroll experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Payroll processing and compliance.
  • Solid experience with timekeeping, payroll, and HRIS systems to include implementation and maintenance.
  • Experience with successfully working in a fast-paced environment, supporting 5,000+ employees.
  • Ability to work independently and recommend industry best practices based on business requirements.
  • Competent computer skills in MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kronos Workforce Dimensions and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
  • Knowledge of Employee Central Payroll reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors cloud application.
  • Knowledge of human resources regulations, state and federal employment law.
  • One to two years of project management experience.
