Job Description:
The HR Project Manager is the business lead responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of HR technology projects. This role involves collaborating across the HR function, IT, and other stakeholders to implement systems that enhance HR operations, improve user experience, and drive organizational efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Business lead for end-to-end HR technology projects, from conception through deployment.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with cross-functional HR teams to collaborate with IT and vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Serve as the main point of HR contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide status updates.
- Work closely with vendors to manage deliverables and resolve any issues.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to align technology initiatives with strategic goals.
- Stay up-to-date with HR technology trends and recommend opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Coordinate post-implementation support and evaluation to address any issues, gather feedback, and ensure continuous improvement with HR Technology Solutions.
- Manage and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration, knowledge sharing, and efficient execution of project tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, specifically with HR technology systems.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, such as HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
