Your Impact
At Axon, we are building a program and portfolio management office to manage, prioritize and fund our cross functional programs. This role will be the first of its kind, building the right amount of structure and discipline into a fast growing and evolving organization. This person will have enormous influence in how we think about managing work, outcomes, and budget across the G&A (General and Administrative) functions. You will be building something from scratch and helping our organization scale quickly.
What You’ll Do

Reports to: EVP, Chief Information Officer
Direct Reports: None at this time
This role will have multiple responsibilities servicing to build both an organization wide PMO for our G&A functions, but also running portfolio for the internal technology and data organizations.
This includes:
- Build a lightweight PMO process to manage the G&A program portfolio, including intake, prioritization, planning, and managing the portfolio and individual programs.
- Partner with FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) to Build an integrated Zero Based Budget prioritization process for G&A functions.
- Build a lightweight PMO organization capable of managing through the most major programs in the portfolio.
- Represent portfolio to executive team to work through prioritization and investment needs
- Transition Corporate IT team to a product driven organization, ensuring we have appropriate iterative delivery methods and customer roadmaps across the organization.
- Run portfolio management specifically for Technology organization, working with the team to manage work and build appropriate intake process.
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience in transformation, corporate program, or COO program offices
- Experience building complex intake process cross functionally in an organization.
- Experience building a product driven technology organization, managing technical programs as well as cross functional corporate programs.
- Ability to represent portfolio, prioritization, and decision making to executive committee.
- Ability to start with a process as a means to an end mindset, starting with simple and light weight process, and maturing as the organization evolves.
- Flexible and innovative in maturing our ability to work and prioritize cross functionally to enable whole teams and programs.
