Job Description
PR Volt is a leading player in the public relations industry, renowned for our innovative email drip campaign software. We are looking for a Fractional Head of Engineering to join our team on a parttime basis (approximately 20 hours per month). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proven track record of leading teams, and a passion for developing highquality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our leadership team to define and implement our technology strategy and product roadmap.
- Lead, mentor, and expand our engineering team.
- Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
- Set and manage budgets, while seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the product management team to ensure our software aligns with business needs.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we remain competitive.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of devops experience.
- At least 2 years of experience managing engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of our tech stack, which includes Python, Django, React, AWS serverless, RDS Postgres, and Elasticsearch or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in software architecture and roadmapping.
- Proven ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work remotely and manage a remote team.
- Fluency in English
- Availability to overlap working hours with EST timezone
