The Mission
Altium is creating the future of electronics design and realization, helping to improve the lives of millions through empowering anyone and everyone with the technology to turn their ideas into reality. Across our business, we are building a platform for the entire electronics industry, used today by design engineers and procurement professionals around the world.The primary focus of this role will be to lead the AI/ML function in our newly formed Incubator operating unit. The Incubator will be responsible for research and development of advanced product and technology concepts that drive our industry transformation agenda.Your mission is to be the driving force of AI/ML in the Incubator operating unit, with a strong focus on problem solving, innovation, breakthrough and first stage delivery. You will play a key role in helping to build the team and creating a new capability in Altium that delivers next generation product foundations.

With the mission of transforming electronics design and its realization, this is a great opportunity for you to join a group of extremely passionate and capable people who are working to improve the lives of millions through empowering anyone and everyone with the platform and technology to turn their ideas into reality.The new Incubator operating unit will be built from the ground up, and will consist of existing people from across the organization and new hires.
This unit will be primarily responsible for leading technology innovation in multiple areas, including AI/ML, modular design and semantic modeling. You have a chance to mold and shape the operating unit in the area of AI/ML to build a first class innovation capability that combines technology with clever thinking and smart approaches in service of solving some of the industry’s largest challenges.The future is not written and there is no user manual to follow that is going to guarantee that we’ll be successful in inventing it, but with tenacity, perseverance and passion, you’ll thrive in an environment where not all of the answers are known.
