Marketing Department, Reporting into Senior Designer Digital

Seventh Generation is seeking a Graphic Designer to add to in-house creative team, to create visual communications solutions across multiple media, including print marketing communications, product packaging, and digital marketing communications (social media, website, ecommerce). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with a strong passion for design and problem solving and able to work within pre-established brand guidelines and a passion for creating and storytelling

  • Under the direction of the Senior Designer and Creative Manager, translate ideas and creative briefs into engaging visual presentation and design solutions across both print, packaging & digital media
  • Create successful, on-brand designs for projects including but not limited to print & digital advertisements, point of sale materials, packaging, tradeshow materials, website & social graphics and ecommerce graphics
  • Design creative for campaigns, websites, digital ads and social media
  • Produce graphic animations to be used on social media and owned & operated media channels
  • Communicate design strategy and rationale to key stakeholders
  • Prepare art files for release to printers, developers or third-party websites

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • BA or BFA, Graphic Design or Digital Design Degree with 1+ years of digital and graphic design experience in agency or in-house design department
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite & After Effects on MAC platform
  • Figma
  • Outstanding design, typography and layout skills
  • Conceptual thinker who can connect creative ideas across all digital channels, desktop & mobile
  • Compelling portfolio of work spanning a wide range of creative projects
  • Excellent eye for detail and understanding of composition
  • Ability to lead critiques and provide feedback and direction to team
  • Ability to present, defend, and articulate strategic concepts to clients
  • Great aesthetic judgement and attention to detail
