THE OPPORTUNITY:

Grants Research Associates are responsible for utilizing general and proprietary tools and methodologies to thoroughly search a wide variety of websites, government publications, and databases to identify, track, and prioritize funding opportunities according to relevance for Euna customers. Qualified candidates will possess a high level of reading comprehension and the ability to process large amounts of information. Candidates must exhibit good time-management and have inner drive, an eye for detail, and a willingness to work in a deadline-driven environment. The Grants Research Associate position is essential to identifying quality content for delivery to our growing customer base of local, state, and tribal governments, and therefore vital to the success of our mission to significantly streamline the grants research process and empower our customers to drive impactful change in their communities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Navigating numerous internet-based electronic resources to locate funding opportunities of interest to our customers;
  • Maintaining electronic records/reminders of funding opportunities;
  • Daily reporting of new and updated funding opportunities; and
  • Periodically conducting special projects.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Ability to understand complex concepts and quickly identify relevant funding opportunities;
  • Proficiency utilizing the Internet as a research tool;
  • Highly motivated, have a positive attitude and be able to work in a structured, performance-driven environment;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as assisting other members of the team when needed;
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and follow-through skills;
  • Detail-oriented and consistently striving for accuracy;
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong desire to give back and better the communities to which you belong;
  • Willingness to do any job, great or small, regardless of your job description; and
  • Driven to continually improve yourself and the environment in which you work.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Associates degree;
  • Direct experience working with local governments or grant-related experience;
  • Experience working under tight deadlines.
