We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Specialist with a focus on migrations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with GCP and at least 1 year of experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role requires a strong background in IT/Software Development and proven experience in cloud migration or infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute cloud migration projects from various platforms to GCP.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure on GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients from Canadian, American, or UK markets, providing updates on development stages and presenting deliverables.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of migrated systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and migrations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with GCP.
- At least 1 year of experience with other cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure.
- Minimum of 8 years of provable IT/Software Development experience.
- Proven experience in cloud migration or infrastructure development.
- Fluent English (C1 and above).
- Experience working directly with clients from Canadian, American, or UK markets.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively during development stages, present deliverables, and conduct proper technical documentation.
- 3+ years of experience working in a fully remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, or both.
- 3+ years of experience leading development teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
