About the Role:

We’re seeking a Frontend Software Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to help us build high-quality, scalable web experiences for our B2B platform. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about crafting fast, responsive, and accessible frontend applications—particularly those who thrive in dynamic environments involving large, ever-changing product catalogs.

You will work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to build interfaces that empower our business customers to search, browse, and interact with product data at scale.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Fetch:

  • Design and develop modern, performant web applications using Svelte 5 and TypeScript.

  • Collaborate on building tools and UI patterns to support large-scale product catalog browsing, filtering, and management.

  • Create intuitive, responsive, and accessible B2B user interfaces tailored to business workflows.

  • Translate complex business logic and catalog data into clean, maintainable frontend code.

  • Contribute to component libraries and design systems to ensure UI consistency and reusability.

  • Work cross-functionally with design, backend, and product teams to iterate quickly and deliver with quality.

  • Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and testing best practices.

In your Toolbox:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

  • Strong knowledge of a modern frontend framework (e.g. React, Angular, Svelte, Vue).

  • Experience working on B2B platforms or enterprise-facing applications.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive design.

  • Familiarity with state management patterns and accessibility principles.

  • Comfortable with source control (Git) and frontend testing practices

Nice to haves/Bonus Points:

  • Strong knowledge of Svelte 5 (or prior Svelte versions with a willingness to quickly adopt v5).
  • Full stack development experience, especially with GoLang.
  • Solid understanding of large product catalogs.
  • Experience integrating with backend APIs and working in a microservices environment.
  • Background in performance optimization and handling high-volume data in the frontend.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, especially within the Svelte ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with analytics instrumentation or A/B testing frameworks.
