WP Engine is looking for a NetSuite Engineering Manager who wants to make an impact at a mission-driven company. The day to day.
- Curating an engineering culture that is biased toward being built for growth.
- Recruiting new WP Engine engineers from all backgrounds and establishing WP Engine as THE place to be if you’re an exceptional engineer interested in solving our most challenging mission critical problems!
- Working in partnership with different departments to ensure we’re building the right things, in the right way, in the right priority
- Leading all aspects of a team of engineers and helping ensure their productivity, happiness, and personal growth at WP Engine.
- Being an advocate for the team while balancing objectives set by management.
Your skills and expertise.
Minimum qualifications:
- Several years of demonstrable experience leading productive and high-functioning engineering teams through the changes associated with a fast paced company.
- You love helping engineers develop new skills and advance in their careers.
- Adopt and be a strong advocate for CI/CD practices across the team.
- Experience as a software engineer and can understand the details of the team’s work.
- You have experience developing and deploying NetSuite SuiteScripts (1.0/2.X).
- Strong background in OOP and SOLID principles, especially as applied to modern Javascript
- You are a lifelong learner, particularly as it relates to building a remarkable and enviable engineering team and processes.
