Join our growing Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand team as we advance Illumina’s global brand awareness to attract and engage diverse qualified talent and engage our current employees. In this role, you’ll be a storyteller executing upon our employer value proposition and creating compelling content that represent the motivations of our candidate personas and current employees.

Responsibilities

  • Go to copywriter and content creator for all things employer brand supporting all verticals of the Talent Org (Recruitment, Leadership Development, Talent Operations)
  • Manage our internal annual Values Awards
  • Design new creative assets for our various employer brand profiles, job boards, and advertising channels (experience with Adobe Suite preferred)
  • Create compelling messaging for Illumina’s paid media efforts – experienced creator of both long and short form content
  • Conduct research to optimize for SEO and understand target audience motivators to ensure messaging resonates
  • Support the TA Operations team with improving candidate communications
  • Create video storyboards and work with designers to develop more video content
  • Optimize job descriptions to incorporate more relevant keywords and increase quality
  • Research new ideas and best practices for optimal content performance
  • Support recruitment events promotional content, booth assets, etc.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of creating content and creative messaging for all marketing outlets
  • At least 1 year of experience with recruitment marketing or employer brand strongly preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Suite
  • Strong understanding of content creation best practices
  • Experience interviewing and ghost-writing for others to capture their authentic story
  • Experience working with vendors and managing relationships
  • Must have a creative, engaging writing style adaptable to various marketing outlets and audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and a data driven approach to content creation
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
