Fandom is growing! Our Editorial SEO Manager opportunity is US-based remote, and you will be reporting to the of Director SEO.

You will work with content partners by applying content strategy and execution. You are systematic, with passion, energy, and enthusiasm to see results, and affect meaningful change. This is a global role and will require collaboration with a distributed team across multiple time zones at a company that values work-life balance.

You Will…

  • Establish SEO content strategies (short and longer-term roadmap) and execution plans and improve adoption through influence management.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-ranking keywords across multiple brands.
  • Analyze search trends and user intent, resulting in informed content strategies.
  • Incorporate knowledge of entertainment and gaming industry content to inform stakeholders of relevance, opportunities, impact, and user experience.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in optimizing and testing web page elements, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and URLs, for improved search visibility.
  • Understand best practices for keyword placement and content formatting.
  • Familiar with SEO Tools such as GSC, BWT, SEMRush, STAT, and Analytics tools to develop reports for key stakeholders.
  • Champion white space opportunities to provide insights and recommendations through research and report on content gaps based on SEO keywords & ranking
  • Provide periodic and regular updates to team members and important partners on project status, timelines, and results.
  • Work with sites with different audience intent including: commerce, discovery, research, and information.
  • Have a searcher-first perspective on organic search (understanding of search intent, personas, journeys)

You Have…

  • Overall 6-8 years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of SEO experience
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets
  • Attention to detail
  • Creative, and curious
  • Work both individually and as part of a team
  • Experience with HTML and CSS

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Edited a wiki
  • Worked on UGC (User Generated Content) previously
  • Worked on large enterprise sites
  • Experience with video games and entertainment
