RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in College Station, TX that is seeking a Django Developer to work within an Agile team developing the core products for a client, primarily in the education and national security sectors. This is not a contract position. We are seeking solution-driven developers seeking a strong company from within which they will grow their career.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Django Developer will design and develop enterprise-level web applications in Django/Python
- Write/execute automated unit and integration tests
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimization
- As a Django Developer, you will develop APIs and RESTful services
- Consider security, maintenance, scalability, and more when developing
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 3 three years of writing Python Django applications and at least 5 (mid)/10 (senior) years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL database in production
- Proven capability with HTML 5.0, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS 3.0, Bootstrap
- Strong understanding of Agile development practices & software development lifecycle
- Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience working with Redis
