Position Overview:
The Director of Web Strategy is responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for the company’s website(s). This role ensures the website is a powerful and efficient platform that supports all marketing efforts, aligns with business goals, and enhances overall user engagement. The Director of Web Strategy will collaborate with various teams, including R&D, design, content, Product & Corporate Marketing, and Revenue Marketing, to optimize the website’s performance and ensure it meets the needs of all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Vision and Direction:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the company’s website(s) that aligns with overall business goals and marketing strategies.
- Ensure the website is a powerful platform that supports all marketing efforts and enhances user engagement.
- Analytics and Performance:
- Monitor website analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Technology and Platform Management:
- Manage the technical aspects of the website, including hosting, CMS, and integrations with other systems.
- Ensure website security and compliance with industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT, design, and content teams to implement website projects.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure the website supports their needs.
- Content Strategy:
- Develop and manage the content strategy to ensure it aligns with business objectives and provides value to users.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in web strategy, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful website strategies.
- Strong understanding of content strategy and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
