Job Description
The Anywhere UX team is a quickly growing and rapidly evolving team being positioned as a thought leader in the company. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our team and revolutionize the way people interact with real estate technology. As the Director of Enterprise UX Design, you will lead a talented team responsible for enhancing the user experience across our agent and broker tools. Your mission will be to create intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing interfaces that empower real estate professionals to excel in their roles. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to drive innovation and elevate our digital platforms. You will champion accessibility, the design system, and design hinking both within the design team and to partners.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define the overall UX vision and strategy for agent and broker tools. Align design initiatives with business goals and user needs. Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, researchers, and front-end developers. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment. Set clear goals, provide feedback, and ensure professional growth.
- Design Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product and to deliver cohesive experiences. Work closely with real estate agents and brokers to understand their pain points and needs. Ensure consistency and alignment across different tools and platforms.
- User Research and Insights: Work with user research to conduct studies, including interviews, surveys, and usability studies. Translate insights into actionable design improvements. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Design Operations (DesignOps): Work with Program Management to optimize design workflows, tools, and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline design delivery. Advocate for and contribute to design systems, component libraries, and version control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Proven track record (10+ years) of designing user experiences for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, InVision, etc.).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience working with user research and usability testing.
- Knowledge of current UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Strong understanding and advocacy for accessibility.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions and strategies.
